Health Program

Are you looking for extra activities to do? Do you speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, and/ or Vietnamese? If yes, then the Calgary Chinese Community Services Association (CCCSA) needs you! We are currently looking for volunteers for the health program. The goal of the health program is to increase minority access to health services. This is achieved through providing interpretation services, hosting education workshops, providing support groups, and helping clients navigate the health system.

This is an excellent volunteering opportunity for those who wish to pursue a career in health as you can get first hand experience interacting with clients. Even if you are not interested in health-related careers, this can be an enriching experience where you can enhance your public speaking and organizational skills, in additional to giving back to your community. You will be provided with all the training and materials that you may need, so experience is not necessary. If interested, please contact Vanessa Lam at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
